Affluent international consumers are dreaming big when it comes to their U.S. home purchase, says new Coldwell Banker Global Luxury data
From diverse American cities and regions to being inspired by Hollywood, wealthy international consumers are dreaming of home in the United States. According to a recent survey by Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, an AnywhereSM (NYSE: HOUS) brand, and the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury® program, affluent international buyers are dreaming big, spurned by location/lifestyle preferences, an overall positive outlook on the U.S. luxury real estate market and more.
In fact, a significant number of respondents say they are optimistic about the state of the U.S. real estate market; 80% of luxury consumers believe purchasing real estate in the United States is a safe investment and 76% rate the current market conditions to purchase a home as “excellent and/or good.”

It’s time to drink up. Literally. Invivo Air, the “world’s first winery airline,” just completed its inaugural tasting flight, with plans for additional jaunts later in 2023.
“We’re thrilled to open Invivo Air to the public and deliver a truly unique experience for those that come on board,” says Invivo Air cofounder Rob Cameron. “We’re looking forward to guiding our guests through the ultimate wine lovers experience.”
On its maiden voyage, the New Zealand-based company flew guests on an Air Saab 340 replete with Cloud Wine emblazoned on the exterior. The plane departed Auckland Airport January 31 on an “all-inclusive viticulture vacation (that) took 30 wine guests from Auckland to Queenstown for an overnight adventure, throughout which they tasted more than 16 wines,” says Invivo.

More than a century after the debut of its first luxury trains, the iconic Orient Express will expand into the cruise world with the debut of Orient Express Silensea.
The very first Orient Express sailing ship and “the largest sailing ship in the world” will set sail in 2026 and push “the limits of the possible,” according to a press release recently unveiled by French hospitality group Accor and Chantiers de l’Atlantique, a leader in the construction of cruise ships.
Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO, Accor, promises the ship will “offer unparalleled service and spaces with refined designs, reminiscent of the golden age of legendary cruises” – not unlike the luxury trains for which the Orient Express name is best known.
